Always connected on your local network
There's a big update in the works. After this update the connection between your phone and Slide will run through your local network by default.
Er is een grote update in de maak. Na deze update zal de verbinding tussen je telefoon en Slide standaard via je eigen lokale netwerk lopen.
What does this mean?
Is your phone connected to the same WiFi-network as Slide? Then the connection run directly via your local network.
Away from home? Then your phone connects to Slide through our server. So, also away from home you'll be able to control Slide.
What will I noticed?
You won't notice anything from the update. It will just make your Slide respond even quicker to your commands when you're home, ánd you won't even need an internet connection anymore to control your Slide.
In case of an internet outage, you'll still be able to open and close your curtains through the app.
